Revisiting suspension trucks

Hey guys. I was looking at the suspension on the Endeavor Pro. Do you think a suspension system like this could be used on a mountain board deck? Even an inch or two of independent suspension could make a difference. Maybe we could get someone like Savage1 to take a look. I think it does not have to have the width of the ones in the Endeavor Pro. Might also make for killer suspension for high speed road riding too. Thoughts?

The biggest reservation I have about suspension trucks is the weight, I still want the possibility of jumping with the board.

If you’re looking for light off road use, sure, but I don’t know if I’d trust suspension component reliability in true offroad circumstances. There’s already been a couple reports of control arms breaking on the Endeavours, and we all know that reliability and maintenance was a big problem with the Bajaboard style suspension as well. Too many small moving parts and points of failures.

To date nobody has convinced me otherwise…
