Riptide pivot cups are more likely to be in the wrong than baseplate tolerances?

To elaborate, These cups are designed by Brad to be an interference fit. That should be hard to push in and hard to pull out.

I’m well within my right to express my opinion that I think it’s a scummy move for a Vendor Account to post something like that without further explanation. If the intention was to help, not harm, why not post a question and start a dialogue rather than dropping a gif with no further discussion point?

It was handled poorly, in my opinion. And that’s all I’m saying.

So it’s not the pivot cups, it’s the baseplate hole is too big.

They do vary. Even the bushings have minute size differences.

This cup would need to be 25% too narrow in order for that to happen. I just can’t see it.

Maybe it’s just chinese bits are bigger than yours so it feels loose when you use it.

Edit. Just assumed they were made in China. Could be wrong.

I’m on the other end of the fence haha. I don’t really care too much for Kug’s activity, he’s harmless. A bunch of loose trucks though, not so harmless.

I know it’s difficult to get a supply of tight tolerance baseplates made, someone needs to look at them before they leave the factory though surely.
