Man you are awesome. Every time I think I’m moderately good at cad, I’m politely reminded I can do better.
Just out of curiosity, what is your thought process when replicating this?
Do you take fine measurements of everything with calipers and just guess at the radius fillets, tweaking them until they fit perfectly?
Or something much more sciency.

Haha. Thanks man. surfrodz geometry was definitely annoying and I was glad when it was done.
I use a combination of angle guages, callipers, 3D printed curvature guages, fillet guages etc. Usually model things in parts, then intersect or combine them. And like you said print test modify print test modify …

Thank you for the sanity check. Those fillet and curvature gauges are definitely interesting. I’m going to look much more in to that.
