i like them alot, need to add one more bolt for a more secure mounting. i think il going to look into actual mountain board bindings, for my off roading tho

I randomly got into leather work for a few years because of an ex.
I bet you could do it.

I bought the strip of leather on Etsy, and didn’t realize it came all the way from Romania (I’m in CA) Haha!
The piece cost less than 20 bucks shipped. I used loctite contact spray adhesive. Covered both surfaces with the spray adhesive and let dry 10 minutes before slowly rolling the leather over the enclose and working the contours with my fingers. Trimmed the leather with about an inch of over hang and folded it over the rim. And laid my foam liner around the bottom edge and voila !
