Iā€™ve been looking for one of these decks specifically to try putting narrow 12" bike wheels on. Itā€™s the only deck that can handle the severe cuts necessary. That rolling resistance would be gone.

Unknown sheet metal. Yay.

Yeah but they are L shaped and look like rolling deathtraps.

I have no idea. Letā€™s put @Skunk on it and send it down a few hills first, Iā€™m sure something will come to us.

Itā€™s got brakes. Heā€™ll be fiiiiiiiine.

Is it closed cell or open cell?

Does it return to its original shape after being smashed for a while?

Itā€™s a closed cell

That looks a a normal mountain board with caster wheels attached. Hell I could make that.

Check the camber on the wheels.
You would need to either bend your truck axles or use FleXL trucks to get the same effect

Does this make you want to try it @mmaner

Maybe the trucks are bent in the picture. I feel like you could get better performance out of those lean trucks

Or, this customer could avoid leaving this board next to the ocean to get hit by a wave. All electronics died, battery survived thanks to the enclosure design keeping all the water pooled in the electronic compartment.

Motors and wheels received all new bearings as well.

No

If a board canā€™t survive an ocean wave, itā€™s not good enough
