what site is that? and can it do winding calculations on a BLDC motor? like esk8 motor?

MotorAnalysis, a pretty cool motor/generator design software, and they are with a open free beta of the next version that is in development. It’s has a steep learning curve, but worth

been looking at those, but so far cant find a reliable supplier. I thought it would be great for loopkey / USB passthrough to ESC

@linny… I can get the normal ones with my hands ez. This one has a thrust bearing and there’s absolutely zero lip gap to do anything with. Also no way to grip the outer black. Maybe with lined can grippers or something… but that’s bearing really seals it.

Also… It has 13AWG wire lmao. Wut.

That is a fantastic idea, if only it was antispark

LoL wut

What has 13AWG wire?

This motor. Will post pics when I get home

it possibly is, it has a resistor, fairly large one

@Zach got one ordered on eBay from China coming… at some point, only other places I’ve seen are eu/uk

It is- Look at the housing “AS120”
Its basically a standard AS 120 connector in a standard XT style housing

What EU/UK places? Only one i’ve found is this

Welp, loopkeys with USB-A plugs are going to be a thing soon, I think

And five other loopkeys without USB for riding, one with USB for the workbench

We should all standardize our pinout now

I think a usbc jack would be good, me likey reversible

for pin out, keep USB positive on same side as positive marked terminal on AS120

Me too, but isolating power in + wiring all the pins for reversibility would be difficult without a large breakout board.
On that note, my search for a small breakout board begins

Edit: Nevermind, it has been found. USB-C is a no brainer, @Scepterr you got a link?

I’m switching out all the microusb on my remotes to USBC

there are some others that look like this, but I wouldn’t recommend them, seem a lot more flimsy
