How much more power can a 25mm wide belt handle relative to common 15mm belts?
CST 8x3. Better balance than the 200x75 fattyās.
2/3 more.
I donāt know when the law of diminishing returns takes over with belts. This is for a track-specific board that will be dealing with a lot of torque. Iām not certain that I will be able to install an idler, but the extra belt width should help to keep the the belt from skipping. 25mm pullys fit between the wheel and mount, so Iām giving it a shot. Also, Iām interested to see how it will look. 25mm belts should look pretty mean.
Nah this aint true lol mine stinks a ton when its running and the lid is on
It doesnāt smell when itās not running but if it is, itās pretty bad. I can only run it at night when Iām not in the room.
My Halot one pro prints pretty well, got some great stuff out of it. And the wash station is super easy to use. Makes it pretty bearable. Iām intending to use it to make some fan ducts for my Artillery printer, but yes, definitely more messy than fdm. canāt beat the resolution of the resin though
I triggered hard on that one bolt on the heatsink
Lol yeah that one had to be just a little cooler than the rest of them I guess
Could always pan head that one
I might pop it out and cross-thread a flathead screw in there

doesnāt looks like a huge difference, but I guess itās passive cooling ? I hate the 12s charger fan noise
Yea, there is no fan inside
That charger is almost x20 the cost of what I use ![]()
They could at least make that type C output PD capableā¦
Fan noise is super annoying, and having moving parts seems less reliable
i paid 27bucks (yes, twenty seven) for it, i aināt gonna complain that it doesnāt have PD output
Quality fans fix the reliability bs
I suppose if a charger adjusted the charge rate down as it got hotter, it could also run reliably if designed well.
Do they mount up to a standard esk8 wheel? Or do they use the larger ID like on the big MBS 9" wheels?
