Gloves, condoms, and sunscreen.

Me: I should use them.

Future me: I’ll put them on enroute. Lol, later mom.

@glyphiks maybe we have leaky palm syndrome.

There are survival benefits though. I was impressed with how well the remote stuck to my hand when the blood started to dry.

Not sure your LED will survive at the current draw the horn will need. Best to wire them in parallel with a current limiting resistor for the LED.

You’ll need to limit the current through the other LED too.

I don’t understand what you’re trying to do with that circuit though.

The edge of the blade shattered, and my face really hurts

There’s bits of ceramic and binder all over the shop

Reason # 450 as to why I don’t trust angle grinders: fragile blades.

I was glad that when my dremel threw off the metal cutting wheel and it hit my nose it didn’t cut me at all. The failure was the collet is worn out and would let things slip out. Easy to fix by just using the new collets I bought even if it means fully removing the chuck to be able to swap out parts.

I dropped a dremel collet in my garage the other day and I swear that fucker evaporated into the ether.

Spent an hour hunting it down before I gave up and placed an amazon order.

Gotta do what you gotta do though, how else do I cut a 8mm case hardened shaft to within 1mm length tolerance across the whole face

The shafts aren’t usually hardened, I don’t think. All the ones I’ve seen were case-hardened.
