@Anubis
hey Ben! thanks for the hanger! do you know if the bionomics gear drive works on trampa hubs somehow?
Thanks
I’ve seen some small (usually disposable) vapes use small Li-Ion cells in capacitor packages. Usually small Chinese brands not a big one like Sigelei though.
Interesting!
You’re sure those were li-ion cells and not li-ion caps?
Definitely not sure, I just assumed a power-supplying component would be a battery.
Because of their much longer long life, lower sensitivity to heat, and increased safety, caps are often used for backup power and primary power in energy-harvesting and other lower power circuits.
thats a meaty set up, for you or your boy?
Gonna see if it’ll lug me around or not
I’m sure that will get you going, looks cool so far!
Nice, what is that drive train off of?
The axle is from an old shriner car, the motor and diff is meant for a go kart supposedly.
T-nuts are terrible for esk8 in my experience. May you have better luck.
If those are top side & grip tape will be going over them it’ll probably be fine tho.
Nope, bottom side. I hope they hold up! If not, I’ll try from the other side as you’ve suggested.
Putting a tiny pan head wood screw like this may be a good retention mechanism. Will stop giving unsolicited advice now tho
Thats not a bad idea. But it’s bathed in epoxy. Under and over. It wont move.
I did this on a deck recently, but yours look a lot better.
Yes there is. I have adapters for them.
