Yep - slow boat shipment lol itā€™s gonna be a bit.

Your setup is looking real good tho, I havenā€™t had the tail lights on my board since I switched to newbee drives (mounting them to those is another task on the long list)

Iā€™m calling them ā€œC8 Tail Lightsā€ they will be available when the shipment comes. Not sharing my website around yet as Iā€™m still finalizing some things but weā€™re getting close. Iā€™ll be making an official Vendor Corner post when Iā€™m ready.

While Iā€™m still working on ways to mount to Jump Drives, the Newbee 4gs, etc, they do come with an elastic strap that can be used on certain setups. Iā€™m also thinking about options for mounting to my esc enclosure, or on top of a rear truck baseplate

 Considering using protected cells in a board?

Thatā€™s just a battery that came with my flashlight, and I couldnā€™t believe how big it is for 21700.

I think it has a protection circuit board under the top and/or bottom contacts, extending the length of the cell. Most lights use protected cells these days.

Yes, and I guess length isnā€™t such a big deal with flashlights but this could ruin your day in many other scenarios.

I like your version a lot more. Remind me did you make it to take larger bearings I forget.

I did. The wheel can take both 22mm and 28mm bearings. I am going to test this version for a while then I will have a good idea when the wheel can be released. I am aiming for a retail price of around $350.

u got a pic from the other side of ur wheel?

What will the $350 include?

Rims, tires, tubeless valves and bearings for 8mm axles. I will look into the cost of additional bearing sets too.

Niiice canā€™t wait

Oh thatā€™s interesting itā€™s not flat on the inside. How does it work with existing pulleys and gear drives then?

Oops, the wheelset will come with 60t pulleys too.

But I suppose thatā€™ll fit the curvature of the rim right? I guess those running gear drives will have more of the thread of the screw exposed? Or would it not be compatible (canā€™t tell exactly how this thing screws together)? Say like BN AT drives for instance.

Can you make them wider to pull the 165ā€™s flatter? Seems like they need to be an extra 10mm wider than the original meepos

They looked about right in his images. The wheels are extra wide and you donā€™t need to pump them up a ton

i got a brightside looking for a home if youā€™re keen. its like the baby brother to the darkside, slightly less extreme in the concave/features department. very similar to the omakase.
