Itās what came with the drives. Heated them up to loosen because of the red loctite but didnāt reheat to tighten again (wasnāt sure if I should because the other side tightened down ok without heat)
Oh, which drives are those?
Newbee 4GS. I swapped my wheels to new wheels and had to adjust the drives out a few millimeters, so I had to loosen the clamp screw. Other side was fine, this oneā¦ not so much
Maybe new bolt or retemper
Yeah makes sense, it seems like it would also help to seal up the bolt holes with silicone or something though. I was watching a video about a caravan build where he was very careful to silicone any screws going into the wood so there wouldnāt be water entering through that little gap in the weather sealing

Yeah, Iāll have to figure out the best route to get this one out.
Is it possible to fit a nut with some Loctite 638 on the bottom exposed threads? Then you could thread it out the other end, right?
Yeah, Iāll have to figure out the best route to get this one out.
If you can see the other side maybe hit it with heat & the right size one of these, first use one side to make the guide divot then flip & use the extractor in reverse

Reversed polarity on the charger/charge port?
Whereās the dude that was here riding CBSā boner asking for proof of them being unsafe?
Precisely why I asked first haha. Could be user error I suppose buuuuut Iām not thinking so.
Nope! Was using it as usual, with a standard onewheel XR Charger. Went on a ride the night before, and charged it overnight as usual, and in the morning it smelt like burnt electronics in the garage. Contacted Chi and they blamed it on a pinched wire in the battery box, even though it was installed exactly how their own install guide said to install it. (Also there was not a pinched wire that I could see) Quite disappointing from Chi, especially as the battery was only about a month old, and they only offered $100 towards a new one.
