Great rider, but thereās any number of situations where skill wouldnāt save him or another path user, these vids are in really poor form

For some context, this is a brand new cycle path
out in the northern suburbs on a freshly opened section of the freeway. Its entiely deserted for most parts of the day, runs in a dead straight line with clear vision of over 150-200m ahead. Its also completely fenced on both sides meaning no one would be able to enter from the sides.
Im not saying its the perfect place to hit these speeds, but its also not a terrible choice given the above infoā¦ Iāve seen group rides take place in much more idiotic locations.

iāve had some small group rides with sane people that go really well.
but yeah those big ones with everyone thinking the group makes them invicibleā¦ wellā¦

Safer than most downhill skate runs where you go down open mountain roads with no brakes.
Not gonna go too far into pedantics but Iād argue that skater vs car is less dangerous to the innocent than skater vs bike rider/pedestrian.

Personally, I donāt think this is cool at all.
Going 60mph on a path with other users including bikers shows total disregard for other peopleās safety.
Like, you wanna hit 60mph, there are roads for that. You shouldnāt be cannonballing past road bikers on narrow paths at 50mph+.
Bums me out to see it but hey, some people suck.

I feel like this board is cool but way to pricy. Then again itās a small battery so itās quick thrills but for the safety of others you really needs routes that are dead.
