Raith electric skateboard

That was James my dh skater friend trying that for the first time. I’m still trying to learn puck downs… or more accurately trying to find the patience to learn puck downs

That was on the Boosted 105’s which ended up wearing down to 90mm polygon shapes haha. Those wheels feel a bit like rubber. Dylan loves the Onsra 115mm rubber wheels for sliding. Those wheels make it easy to do handbrakies and 180 powerslides on asphalt as if it was wet.

The vesc current control does make it very difficult to powerslide compared to duty cycle control where your throttle position sets the wheel RPM. Cars are more like current control but because cars have gears you can limit the wheel speed to make them controllable. What we are trying to do is initiate slides in 6th gear which if you’ve ever tried in a video game (or had a fast enough car to try IRL) is not very easy.
