Radium Performance

Perhaps one professionally done in polyamide or other high impact luxury polymer in the style of the Mach 3 without elongating the profile? Food for thought

My math research shuts down one weekends but my curiosity remains the same, therefore, I have a question perhaps someone already knows the answer for. What happens to the top speed exactly when switching the Mach 1 pulley from 18T to 20T ?? Asking for a friend.

Assuming loss in takeoff and perhaps acceleration going from 18 to 20T, wondering also if 20T has been tested and what it does to the ride-ability and feel ? Also asking for a friend

We are working on a handle. Not sure when it will be out as we’re working on a lot of things right now.

20T is only if you want to go even faster than 45mph. You will lose torque noticeably.

Definitely part of the purchase decision for me was in large part tied to the Mach Ones’s form and the other was tied to specified functions. When I received, experienced the unboxing, and finally rode the Mach One, I realized just how refined the whole setup was in form and function, It was at that moment I felt compelled to go for a second one, stretching the pocketbook :grin:. At this point in my progression, I’m cash only responsibly as I don’t have as much physical ability as a youngster to go get more, but this board inspires me to do as I was 30 yrs old again and getting into a Porsche GT3 at that time in my life. Motivation, this board provides it in droves.:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

@Tony_Stark Were you ever able to mill out any BN drive adaptors?

Front binding. Positioned, drilled, and ensured mounting screw heads clear all that’s in the tight clearances within the carbon tub:blush::blush:

We had Boardnamics make a batch of adapters for their M1 drive, but the pins turned out to be machined oversized, so they don’t fit unless you drill out the holes in the hub a fraction larger. So we gave up at that point as there’s not a lot of interest anyway.

Looks good. I’m stoked you’re trying the binding! Without one its like being in a supercar without bucket seats. You can’t really experience what the car is capable of unless you’re locked in to it.

What did you use to measure and drill? I’ve got a dremel but I think I need more power

We’ll I’ve rode the board for a while now and have my favorite right foot positionings on the board familiarized. Placement is really by personal preference but I made sure to dodge the battery pack on where I drilled as the heads of screws protrude a bit below the deck, maybe a few millimeters once fully tightened. As far as drill bits, you should use one sized close to the bolt diameter of threads, else you will fight it into the holes. I used a slightly smaller bit (diamond embedded drill bit) and did some sideways motions to enlargen the holes to fit the mounting bolts. Be sure to remove the deck off the enclosure prior to drilling  As you can see in the pics, the right ones (heel side) are drilled completely outside the enclosure, and the toe side bolts are drilled on top of the gasket area of the enclosure, missing the battery pack and missing the lights I have mounted on the tub. I’ve seen pics of various drilled positions but decided I don’t want to risk going on top of the internals. Luckily the positioning seems perfect and with adjusting my foot position about the strap tightness can yield any level of grab and leverage that I desire, laterally and vertically to control the front of the board. YMMV

Finally, I use E6000 adhesive (not shown) to watertight all the screws to eliminate potential of moisture intrusion into the deck or into the tub

Use full size/ power drill, as the material is very strong!

Just out of curiosity did you ever consider making armored hoodies? I just had a fall in my Radium hoodie (that I got for BOTY, thanks again) and for the roughly 55 km/h fall it barely took any damage. Not sure if that’s just luck or if it is some sort of reinforced fabric, but it held up great for how I expected it to. I think after the next wash it will barely even be visible.

On the other hand my knees hurt quite a bit now. I was considering taking some armor but decided nah not needed for todays ride. Went over “rumble strips” that I didn’t see in Hungary, which is basically concrete half balls with 20cm diameter… My lights were dead for the night ride, kinda stupid on my part…

It’s always that one time you decide not to wear protection. Then you crash and get hurt at that one spot you didn’t have protection. :skull:

We’ve considered so many ideas. I’m confident we could make some awesome riding gear. But I don’t think much will happen until we can find an investor.
We’re doing everything with both hands tied behind our back at the moment

@Tony_Stark I’m trying to order 151kv through your website but it’s listed as sold out. Your US distributor said he has them atm but I’d have to order through you guys first.
