I have no idea what that thing is. Springs ? A plastic case ? Firmware ? A website ? These are all very doable.

If the answer is “the microcontroller is no longer manufactured” then, perhaps that’s a blocker, but even extracting the firmware from an existing puck is possible if the MCU has any reasonable specs from the last 15 years.

I don’t wanna clog up Liam’s thread any more, but I had no stake in the company. I’m not telling you it can’t be done because I want to prevent you from trying. put all that effort into just making a new remote from scratch. That’ll be worth more than cloning a remote made with parts that are entirely impossible to source

I never signed one. We paid a company called FlySky a bunch of money to use their proprietary and very good radio system.

I ordered 2 handles and some spare belts with my board and they have arrived! The other “part” is still in Sydney and it’s a long weekend

Darn, well at least u can have fun installing some handles and trying them out. Use loctite and don’t overtorque.
How’s the handle compared to your own designed one?
Delivered to my old address so i haven’t picked it up yet, but i’m sure Liam’s copycat handle will be far inferior to the OG 
For real tho, i bought two because i’m convinced that mine will break eventually and i’m confident Liam’s done a better job than me!

Its pretty sturdy bracket material where it attaches. I only use it for lifting one side of board or to assist in lifting from both ends of board., have not attempted to hang the entire board weight on it howerver. And it looks amazing, OEM 
Getting closer… it’s now only a few suburbs away… it got from China to Sydney twice as fast as it’s taking from Sydney to Melbourne
