In total: wrong color deck, wrong color wheels, sr spacers in 2 colors and not matching side to side, different enclosure (he communicated upfront) . Deck hits the motors when i try to turn. 3 valve caps missing.
Changed the unity for 2 maytech singles 4 series and did not feel the need to inform me. Was going to swap back to unity. Still waiting for his shipment number. Bought a unity at bioboards…
Bf buy. Received end of may. (found out about the missing unity only months later when my complete was openend by pjotr to fit batteries (the expected available space was not there due to the MTs. So the batt had to be redone. Sure why alr start when you dont know the avail space… Tja pjotr does not live next door and i assumed Dave his earlier statements on spacing were correct)

But my bergmeister tires keep popping. When are the fixes coming? I agree Timo is a great dude and takes care of shit but I haven’t seen him in months (save one post he liked the other day).

I got the 1st version prototype he accept to sale before the 1st open sale, not popping, then two other set, non-popping … 
only install those rings on my last rubbisher build, not popping too … I know I’m maybe a papy rider but I don’t understand. how much did you inflate them ?
It that always the valve issue some seams to have ?
did you try send a bit around the hole corner maybe?

I haven’t sanded them but they feel smooth and I couldn’t see any burrs. I was using the orings on them all before my first ride and had 2 flats in 10 days. I had them highly inflated the first time, dropped the pressure in the others after it popped, and then popped another the next ride. Could have been damaged.
Also they both popped not in the valve stem area.
Timo was great about sending replacements quickly so no biggie.

I had nonstop flats until I deburred/sanded the valve stem holes. The rings made no difference until I did that. Bunch of minor little jagged burrs that were hard to see.
To be honest, Berg’s were a gigantic waste of time and money for me. I spent more time trying to keep them from popping than riding them, and by the time I had mostly gotten them under control I didn’t want to bother with them anymore. Got another 2 flats (this time not from valve stem) and then just sold both sets with that disclaimer + extra tubes. I just got tired of constantly having to rebuild them.
Overall not that terribly impressed. Their response/suppprt was GREAT but it doesn’t fix all the ride time lost and negative user experience.

I apologize for my tone above. This isn’t a silly thread or a thread for gifs and memes. People are irritated/frustrated/mad with a vendor after money has changed hands.
I would be dissatisfied as well.
This isn’t really an ad hominem attack thread, but I wanted to stand up for him as great guy anyway. However:
-business is business
-this community has an ugly history of a few vendors behaving badly
-I’m geographically close to Dave, I’ll urge him when I see him in person to visit here more often and take stock.
-I know I’m not special, I don’t think I am going to swoop in and save the day.
-by all rights, he could brush my concerns aside, Ive never been a vendor, I don’t really know anything about business.

I’ve been supporting Dave since I joined the builders site.
If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t have gotten my first DIY board running.
I generally like his products.
It’s a shame to see his reputation on here go down.
