It’s not just the lip, you also need the width to run something like this. My vote is MBS pro ii xl, and then run the wideners I designed if needed.

I’m gonna be running some 4in inner diameter tire with Hubba hubs, gonna run it with 3d print lips and widener. Will report how it goes.

Anyone tried these Kenda K473 9 inch tires? They look like they’ve got nice deep tread with a flat contact patch.
I’m considering trying them out to replace my current 9in street tires which have really shallow tread and a very round profile. (Though I have no other complaints with them, they’re great street tires)

I have those tires and regular rockstar IIs, and IIRC they fit and didn’t pop over the bead like some larger tires, but were extremely round on those and less round on larger wheels. I still haven’t actually ridden them at all, though. I got them just to see because they were cheap, and I was already ordering off-road tires from AliExpress at the time.

Anyone tried these TUOVT 160X55 tires?
Did you ever try the Kendas K473 ?
My 8x3 Cheng Shin turf tires on passive front truck are now bald in the center, and looking asymmetrical side to side, like they want to be easily punctured, and one was always bit wobbly and looking more so now.
They were likely too wide for my rims, so the profile was not as flat as it intended.
It was just 8$ more to order the Kendas, and I hope they are not wobbly,.or require a lot of balancing weights.
I imagine scooter tires are better than lawn mower or hand truck tires in this regard.
I wasn’t necessarily looking for a taller tire, but so be it.

Yes, and i love them. My detailed thoughts are in my Mistfall build thread, but the tl;dr is they are very well balanced, very grippy on lots of different terrain, and very comfortable.
Only downside is that they are wearing kinda quickly 
but that’s worth it to me.
@patrickcleary also got a set. And I think I sold a few other people on them as well.

I really like the tread design and profile.
I’ve been running my cheng shin 8x3 " turfs at 8psi, partially to slow down the wear in the center, and partly to mask the wobble. Probably have over 2k miles on them. No punctures.
I almost pulled the trigger on these:
Fiona’s chariot has sawtooth 4.10-3.50-4’s on the same rims, and they too have some wobble, but are wearing very well, and their price was/is right.
