Noticed quicker acceleration while holding water bottle?

I’m just curious why you can’t accelerate 0-40mph at average 1g if the tires are capable of it as shown by your peak momentary tests

So I am asking in all seriousness:

unless you’re falling, you very well know 1g is not possible to hold in the launch. that would require people to accelerate harder and faster as time goes on. if you were smart, you’d realize how impossible that is, but given your lack of experience in anything esk8, i’m not surprised

99% of cars can’t even maintain a constant 1g acceleration

0-60mph in 2 seconds in a Tesla is actually 1.3g average

and it doesn’t use water bottles

Because on a Tesla, the angle to the center of mass is more than 45 degrees from vertical measured from the rear contact patch, without a water bottle

I think we can determine whether your motors are capable from the kv, gear ratio, wheel diameter and motor current limit. If they are capable it gets harder to explain why you can’t average 1g 0-40mph other than refusal to lean or lack of bottle…

if you don’t know how much it takes to accelerate on a board, don’t go about saying that the rest of us need water bottles to be better. your assumption of ideal conditions in this water bottle thing is so far removed from how it actually works in practice, the chances of me getting a girlfriend are nearly guaranteed in comparison to getting those said ideal conditions more than once

not to mention, the only factor you’re looking at is lean, and you very well know lean is not the only thing you have to consider

On 2nd thought, if your motors are momentarily capable of 1 g, and capable of 40mph, theres only 1 reason I can think of that you aren’t capable of 0-40mph averaging 1g.

I’m just confused about how this guy thinks he can add energy to a system by adding a bottle of water

Think of it this way…. if you are already holding a bottle beside your waist, lifting it up and holding it ahead of you moves your center of mass forward, without increasing mass, the same as leaning.

then why not get rid of the water bottle and idk,

a water bottle is not going to add anything meaningful other than just more mass that needs to be moved

but your board is capable of 1g acceleration 0-40mph, & for whatever reason, you can’t lean enough, because the best 0-40mph acceleration is only 0.69g

you don’t know if it’w capable of maintaining the power required to maintain a 1g acceleration rate up to 40
you’re just pulling assumptions out your bumhole

The motor is capable, whether your battery has enough voltage and a high enough battery current limit is a different issue.
