Any update?
Nothing, LA port clogged up.
Have you considering just unloading the vessel yourself?
Insert marriage joke here
Looking at the SRB NKP 3-Links front it actually looks like a duck.
Very clever @MoeStooge
@b264
Even has a spiraldick
Has anyone tried the NKP trucks with BN geardrives yet?
I’m gonna, soon. Awaiting the adapters for it.
We will keep parts in stock for standard. Ryan just won Mary Hill on the stanard. Its still a good sub 200lb hanger.
I think most will opt for the HD. It feels a bit more rigid than the standard but i ride at 170lb. The HD makes offroading the 3-link a reality. It overall most likely could phase out the standard. Demand will dictate.
When will the winner be announced?
Were pulling a winner in 2months.
Hey Moe @MoeStooge
I am pondering if I can slap your HD trucks on my Khymera.
I saw a video from a while back where Mario had one running.
Here is the big question…
do you think that set up was good?
is this kind of deck ok with the 3 links?
or is a drop down long board really the way to go?
I experimented with a weird truck set up with the Khymera and it was a no go…
So now I am exploring alternates.
I really don’t want to cut the deck. and was told that Findoutcustoms may have an adapter.
@computers
Do you know about that.
edit:
I found the adapters.
@rafaelinmissouri With the FOC adapter up front you will not need to chop/cut the Kymera dack. The rear deck angle is perfect to run the 3-link reversed with motors facing outward. Its a setup that will work very well with the HD.
HD radius rod to baseplate mounts and HD 44mm large bolt pattern motor plates are a couple of weeks out.
HD 4130 chromoly plates are .065" thicker.
where will it be announced? will it be posted here?
HD truck winner will be announced in the June newsletter.
Wow
There’s a stooge newsletter?
How do I sign up?
Love this guy’s geeky analysis of skateboard geometries especially with reference to true LDP (pump not push). Obviously he hasn’t cottoned on to esk8 yet though.
