Yes, but it’s kind of hair-raising because it’s the last thing that I do. I’d like to do it during the shaping of the deck, but then it would be difficult to make it look really clean after I add the fiberglass.

The truck mount holes are cut during shaping to ensure that they line up perfect with the rest of the board. They are easy to clear with a hand-drill after fiber glass. What I do is have the machine peck a calibration dot between the truck holes. Then in the last step of fabrication I use those perfectly placed calibration dots to line the deck back up on the machine. After I check the allignment for the 1000th time I use the CNC with a fancy compression bit to cut the drops. The compression bit has up-cut and down-cut geometry so it makes the cleanest edge that you can get.

Well that sounds nerveracking, but the results speak for themselves! I was considering cutting drops into a top mount deck that I have, but my bergs already almost bite the deck at full lean so I decided it would be more trouble than its worth haha.

Keep up this awesome project! Are your cavity’s deep enough for 21700’s? I must have missed the dimensions above.

Depth is the only dimension not pictured. Right now the compartment depth is 24.5 mm. THere should be plenty of room for 21700 with a little room for cushion.I should edit the post to include that. It has been a very popular question

Yeah running 20650s on mine so hopefully they will fit fine

I’ll be running a 10s3p 40T on the drop through deck so I will let you guys know how it goes, it should be just enough for the cells with the insulation around the parallel packs and the balance wires on top if there’s a thin layer of craft foam on either side for padding

I’m seriously looking forward to this, I’ll be swapping the deck and enclosure from my Amethystine board project for this

Nice get! Be sure that you make your write-up the best of everyone’s so that @tomiboi has to make more, and I can buy one :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

You got it! With the world ended I’ll have plenty of time to make nice write ups for it, it’ll be a little while before I have the ESCs and hubs (ordered, just waiting for my batch to ship out) but that gives me time to make the battery and sort the charge ports and lights and power button and whatnot

NeoBox and NeoHub, by any chance?

One of the reasons I really like the way that @tomiboi put the integrated enclosure on the bottom of these is because the walls are vertical enough that you can still panel mount stuff parallel to the ground. The Haya with its sloping body really only gives you the option of drilling through the bottom and having stuff facing the ground, but on these you can poke through the sides.

Alright

Heres the plan for my integrated board
Dual 6374
HeXL front
SR TKP rear
Dual Focbox or Unity
12s2p then 12s4p 30Q
Few different wheels to try out
Seismic 85mm, TB110s, and More
Loop key in the riser to eliminate unnecessary holes.
Just need to get new TKP mounts.

This is everything I currently have lying around
Didnt relize I had half of this stuff.:man_shrugging:
Looking foward to letting everyone know how it goes.

You know it, V4 NeoBoxes and 85mm sleeve NeoHubs with (maybe 4?) 77a Caguamas in the front

I have received the board! Busy in the afternoon but will try and squeeze sometime tonight to get it built! Pics to follow soon. The only thing that sucks is it rained recently here in Dallas

Shipping went well. It seems that I can send these anywhere in the states in 2-3 days for about $20. That’s not too shabby for a bulky package. Unfortunately, not so lucky for my European friends. It was about $75 to Dusseldorf and London. Hopefully I’ll be able to find a less expensive way.
