Motor Can grinding on itself

Any idea how I can get my motor can to stop grinding on to itself?

Can buy a new can

It is not clear which action preceded, however the grinding is caused from the shaft being bent, or rooted bearings or both and perhaps the shaft steel was not hard enough…god…help me…you may be able to loosen the shaft screws on the back of the can and pull the can back a bit and give the can more clearance…I have seen corrosion eat away on the section of shaft at the motor bearing cause the tolerance to move way out and become loose causing vibration and play which is magnified on the can, that was on a bajaboard motor. The motor shafts where junk steel.

I’ve had the motor can/axle lock screws some loose then cause this. They had to be retapped. It’s prob not even really fixed because the dude hasn’t tested it.
