I suggested to a guy that he goes towards a max of 8amps. Good charge rate + no need for a dedicated circuit due to higher amp draws

4P pack, 2A per cell?
If the pack gets any more than a bit warm then have him back off. The cells will be a lot warmer than they feel from the outside and any heat is the enemy of Li-ion cells.
