MAD Wheelz Introductory Sale

They are urethane. I like the grip but I am still not satisfied. I may be working on a lower durometer 75-85mm wide version.

Ultimately, pneumatics can grip waaaaay better but not without a ton of rolling resistance. Did I mention tubeless?

I’m thinking of getting these to upgrade from my orange 80A Caguamas. Can anybody who tried them both share some insight. Will these be soft/big enough for shitty roads. I’m mostly talking about old crusty asphalt. There is a stretch of really shitty asphalt on my commute to work which really vibrates the fuck out of my feet. It’s so bad I have to stop for a few minutes to rest. I do hope this will get better when my feet “harden” or I get used to it.

They are a lot better than caguamas but they’re still thane at the end of the day; don’t expect miracles.

I was afraid of that answer  I just finished my build and its probably not strong/big enough for pneumatic. 33 inch Kicktail board, Molicel P26A (10s3p) + single 6374.
What about the Momentum-boards Hollow wheels? How do these compere to the Mad Wheelz?

You wouldn’t have much range on pneumatics with a battery that size but if u geared it right, it would be fine torque-wise. Still, thane is a better choice bc range.

I’m already thinking about another board with 12s4p Molicel P42A. How much range would one get with that battery and pneumatics? I know its hard to say. Different conditions and all. My town is mostly flat and I weigh around 86 kg (189 pounds).

30-35km range roughly.

Depends how fast you ride. On flat roads at speeds around 25-30kmh, you can get close to 40km. If your aggressive then closer to 30km.

Looking at 2 months!

Hi. Any insight who makes The Tynee and Meepo alternatives of the Boosted 105s? Is it the same factory? What about the urethane formula. I would love to buy them from yo, but I live in Europe so there is shipping and import tax ect.

Thx in advance.

White is also a terrible polymer coloring

No worries, it turns yellow eventually if not dyed

Meepo and Tynee wheels are a really close copy of the original Boosted 105/MAD Wheelz. Not sure about the urethane they use. They are made in a different factory.

The MAD V2 will be drop shipped directly from China. Shipping to Europe should be much easier and way less expensive. In fact, shipping wheels to Europe will be faster than shipping to the US.

The first batch of cores are finished. Just waiting for the urethane to be poured. Originally I thought it would be 2 months from now but it may be sooner!

Wow…I just watched the youtube video where you talk about the dual duro wheels. Are the Mad Wheels 2 going to feature that? That sound great. Are they going to have any other significant improvements? I’m looking to get a more comfortable commute to work, as the roads in my country are trash. I love my orange Caguamas, but they just can’t handle one rally bad stretch of road on my way to work.
