Sounds like a monopoly.
I’ve heard the same thing. Sounds like it is better not to use Paypal. Shopify instantly deposits sales into your account. Much less hassle.
Hey guys. I wanted to say thank you so much for supporting our small family business! We had over 50 orders in the 1st week. Several people ordered more than one set. I have plenty of wheels left and will continue to provide them to the community at a reasonable price! Also, keep an eye out for additional reviews on YouTube!
I’m really looking forward to trying these out!
They do feel pretty good. Also they’re compatible fit wise with the drives Defiant is using, I tried them on there before I put them on my witchblade. They’re more side set than the boas so there’s actually a larger gap.
Nice! They get better after you break them in.
I may have sent a couple wheels to Labeda yesterday to start working on a larger version.
So something nobody told me to expect was how these wheels SOUND.
While trying to give them a fair shake, I was listening to some Sneaker Pimps in my headphones while riding, just paying attention to how they feel because since when to wheels sound interesting.
Well these do. They kind of whine. Pretty sure its the holes in the wheels whistling like jugs because they don’t go all the way through. I can hear them over my belts on my witchblade, and now all I’m thinking about is how they’re going to sound alongside the gear drives on the Defiant prototype.
To be clear, they sound kind of spooky and awesome.
I think @ShutterShock may have mentioned it in his first impression video. For those who don’t like it, the holes should be easy enough to cover up without losing the shock absorbency.
I wonder what would happen if you put in some pieces of really light foam. Might be an interesting experiment. I personally like the noise.
I was suggesting silicon the other day, just for science
they should be filled with little LED cartridges.
I kind of like it, I’ve heard that the experience on short boards emphasizes the vibrations
Now I need to re-watch your video on these. I feel like I missed some moments in it.
by a lot, especially if u have a really quiet drivetrain, the humming sound can be annoying
A cool set of MAD Wheelz would be translucent with one of the LED cores powered my motion.
night ride wheels. I would totally buy a set just for that.
So no more thru hole for pulley? The way glow wheel implement it is by using abec core and block off half of the spoke hole for the necessary components to make it glow, which require half length spokes pulley. The bearing is also not changeable on those since it’s part of the component that make it work
talking about the holes in the thane, not the holes in the core. There’s great big holes in the thane, big enough to hide half a joint in.
Right, but the main component that turn the circular motion into current to power those led will have to be from the bearing seat, which possibly require a complete redesign of current wheel core to make it work
