Impressed by their cogless motor :raising_hands:

Haven’t found yet?

What’s so special about this truck that it’s worth $2200?

Stealth. You can’t tell the board is electric by looking at it. Unless you also skateboard, or know about skateboards.

Someone has to design them..we have too many smart people here.

The biggest problem is motors. I can’t see this concept working without custom motors, and then there’s minimum order quantities to get custom motors made…

You gotta move on at this point. She’s not coming ba–

–i was totally talking about Jaykay trucks, not my love life, no sirreeee

Why are there only like 1 confirmed set of these in the wild? Would be interesting but nothing but crickets for ages. Might be easier to find some unlimited or neo hubs and build a custom deck.

I’m guessing the barrier to entry was too high. It was really expensive, had a long lead up time (they were made in Germany), and those who would’ve been interested were German commuters who could spare EUR 1800 or DIY enthusiasts who had the skills to make “good enough” stealth boards.

And those who weren’t, bought Exway X1’s.

Someone please take inspiration All-In-One hubmotors are always interesting to the media | ELECTRICBIKE.COM

They were already designed. Not enough people wanted to buy them to keep the company going.

To add, I think the motors were one of the founders’ PhD project/dissertation. The company is still around, but just selling stand up paddleboard motorization kits instead of the e-trucks.
