Ok, I have also thought about this a good bit.
I am totally on board.
AT boards. Manicures grass surface.
Have to have foam capped well made jousting sticks.
Have to establish an armor minimum standard.
I think it would be a fucking blast, and RELATIVELY safe if down properly.

I tried jousting with friends, and either no one fell off, or both fell off. We had other people control the boards with remotes, because the riders needed both hands to hold the shield and poles. Protection was the main issue – they had vests underneath sweaters, and full set of knee pads, elbow pads, helmet, gloves, yet both parties still got hurt. (Scraped legs and hands hurt) Also, 1 of the sweaters got ruined.
Was really fun though! And entertaining too for the first few tries, then it got boring because nothing would happen. I’ll show you when I edit the footage together, still haven’t had time to do that, sorry.
Edit: Oh, and I had to throw 1 of the helmets out. They’re only 1 time use, you know

@Sender that would be really cool I think we should do something like that
my idea would be at boards and street boards 90mm+ indoor turf field,full face helmets and if I found the best protection yet to be football pads the real question is could you ride an e unicycle?

lots of armor, like comic levels of armor, and foam or silicone coated jousts would make a killer show. Especially with people who knew how to fall with style. and some kind of mode where they’re allowed to chase each other around and knock each other off.

I love the jousting idea. On grass. Team dirt track figure 8 racing in those inflatable sumo wrestler suits also. There is simply nothing more fun than knocking people down and it is generally frowned upon in real life.
