Ideal motors for 18s config

So, I will shortly have my decks and enclosures ready for testing.

The enclosure is designed to ideally fit an 18s battery config (or 12s).

I am struggling to find large motors with an ideal kv rating for an 18s config.

I know lacroix run motors at 130kv on the supersport.

Maytech have a 90kv suitable for 18s, but it’s an open can design , so not a fan. (Also not battle hardened).

Most of the larger, more reliable vendors will allow me to pick a kv if I bulk buy, so that is what I’m thinking of doing.

Would would be the forum’s consensus for a suitable motor to run on a large cruiser style board with an 18s configuration?

I have the 63100 from Ant innovation at 120kv, to get a deck up and running but I’m not a fan of them, small bullet connectors, short leads etc.

I wonder if anyone has tested Flipsky’s new motors at high voltages? They’re not rated for it, but with the improved design I bet they could handle it…

They only improved the magnet epoxy and stator to make it cool less efficiently, but take more impacts.

140KV… Maybe.

Basically reacher motors /thread?
