I had a similar experience with Hyperion. First i should say that i did end up getting a refund but i waited a lot longer then i should have.
I sent him $760 papal for E-toxx gear drives on may 28th. August 11th I ask if he has confirmation on shipping dates. Hyperion tells me that its in production and waiting on shipping dates.
August 28th still no update on shipping so i decided to ask E-toxx himself when it will be shipped. He tells me that Hyperion never even met the minimum for the order.
august 29th i ask for refund. they send me a pending paypal refund
September 13th I notice the refund was canceled
september 17th I get another pending refund
october 2nd I finally get my money back

We broadcast it a lot, and we used to make new topics constantly about it on the old forum. Here I think it has yet to really set in because the members on this forum are a closer community and more people feel like friends and family is an accurate description of each other. We need to share constantly that itās not personal to use business - itās just basic transaction protection.
Quick summary: Young dude who took on way too much and sold batteries that blew up. He got away with several thousand dollars from people who used friends and family and there was nothing that bystanders could do to help. Just a really shitty situation

Plus itās only a small percentage more for goods/service I just use it all the time. I think Iāve done f&f once and that was for a low value item from a trusted friend here.

G&S is 2.9% + $0.30 for any purchase, so for my personal stuff it would be a $14.71 fee ($190 for 2 motors, 280 for a custom battery, and $120 for a dual ESC), small but noticeableā¦but from now on Iām definitely using G&S

I really hope they come through with the goods for you guys. I was very disappointed with their poor communication and cancelled my order immediately after Jens confirmed that they were bullshitting about the ETOXX buy.
However it seems that I was pretty luckyā¦ my refund came almost immediately.

Just throwing my story out there since itās a new thread
I ordered with him on June 4th and everything seemed fine, got a decent quote for a 12s4p 40t battery with a 2-3 week estimated lead. The months started to pass and I would check in every couple weeks after to very poor customer service. I finally got my battery after 4 months and it has cells that I didnāt ask for lol, it had sanyo c which is 3500 mAh compared to 4000mah. I am happy I have my pack and the work looks amazing. Unfortunately at this time I cannot reccomend anyone go with these peeps. They seem like good guys but theyāre clearly overwhelmed with their day jobs and should take a break on the battery building for a while.
