I ended up giving up on encoder. I did three. First one is perfectly good and good to go. The other two I did after that just did not work. Keep giving me SPI fault code. I can’t figure it out. I used shielded wires and all. Oh well. I just followed the graph from @NoWind from the old forum.
Hello. On last 2 weeks I have a nice sex with my flipsky vesc 4.20 (4.12) and as5047 encoder. After surfing internet i found this page (ht_tps://vesc-project.com/node/373), and is was my solution. My vesc has filter for hall sensor, and this was very bad for SPI interface. Who use SPI, you need to do the steps description in the forum.
