Gear drive 30 inch board? Possible?

@torqueboards Will a 30" dual gear drive 6380 TB be able to climb hills? Or just the 30 like what is the diff

Climb mountains. lol. I doubt youā€™ll need any of that. 2WD Gear Drive 6355 uphill on a 30". You wonā€™t have any issues. @Underoath888

That would be a comically wide 30 inch deck setup.

Where can I buy the 30"?

Ok well then dual 74s I guess I do have hills to climb lol.

What is your weight?

Even that seems really wide for a 30inche deck om geardrives

Perfect example of a shortboard dual gear drive.

If I ever upgrade my spud in the future, Iā€™ll probably do dual 6355s. Any bigger than that, itll be a bit too wide and heavy for my taste

I understand . But even a belt drive on 12mm belts is gonna be awkward with dual 6374 motors on a 30 inch deck, and geardrives take up more space.
I donā€™t even like Ecaliber trucks on my 30inch deck.
6364 is the biggest I would go on a short deck and thatā€™s even kinda wide.

Thatā€™s a super beneficial weight. Properly fed 6355 dual setup will be plenty.

I think Iā€™m gonna buy a 30 and 40 inch deck and then just swap the motors and battery compartment depending where I go.

All with drop bolts.

The only problem with that is I would do a considerably different configuration for my battery between a short and long deck

Considering you were planning for a four-wheel drive build.
I bet you could get away with a good two wheel drive longboard, and a respectable single Drive shortboard for probably less than the four-wheel-drive build would have cost.

Single drive short boards are super fun @Underoath888

Great for portability and just general riding.

Im 150lb and I ride a 170kv single 6374 on some steep hills with no problems.

I think Iā€™ll dual motors for both and just swap Wheels and Decks as needed.

12S4P and dual 6374s til I can upgrade to a bigger battery and 2 more motors

Dual 6355 is just as fun just saying?

You dont need anything more then that.
