but apparently using the heart is the same as the traditional like, and I can actually tell it which emoji I want to trigger a traditional like. Not sure what use that would be since you can still just click the old heart anyway.

I can’t upload photos backed up from Google photos anymore 
Just says stuck “Processing Upload” for forever.
That’s strange. What happens when you upload straight from your phone?
Works like normal for locally stored copies. Anything that’s been backed up and removed from local storage refuses upload.

Interesting. Is that using the forums upload button and navigating to Google photos? And are you 100% sure that the local copy of that photo was not still on your phone?
I can upload from Google photos if they’re still on my phone fine but any old photos get stuck.
