Somebody has a type.
I am from Austria , but a aunt of mine lives in Switzerland near Zurich.
I am from Switzerland but I don‘t know why they are called swiss maschine pinheaders…
Machine pinheaders - the way to go
Success
And now… No more changes. Need to release V1.0 as soon as possible… I’m satisfied with the result
Hi
Stacking female maschined pinheaders is a great solution. Just remember to get sockets with thin pins! else you might end up with a defect socket.
I am ready to order ver1.0
Need 4 of these to drive my robot.
@jens_overby Will there be a Danish groupbuy ?
Best regards

i mean you can order 5 directly from JLPCB, cost arround 198$ with tax and shipping (thats what i did)
I just ordered 5, and I only need two of them, so I have three. But 3 is not 4, which is what you need, so hmm…
But yes, machine pin-headers are great, and now you can also attach the mcu pill on the top-side, if you like that solution more.
So, anyone on the European continent (except Russia which I don’t like), I have 3 assembled boards for sale at $38 (per board) - which translates to €35 + shipping.
Have 3 boards at $38/€35 each + shipping.
Obviously, without mosfets and 680uF capacitors (but if you want those, I can include these at a few more dollars)
This is only a good deal if you’re on the European continent, and you only wan’t like 1 or 2. Else order directly at JLCPCB.
Release v1.0.0 is now available on github GitHub - nordstream3/FOC
(includes pin-holes for machine pin headers)
@jens_overby , Okay i will order 5pcs from JLCPCB and have a spare for later use ![]()
V1.0 nice work !

I was showing my buddy this and he mentioned Samtec SL-114-G-19
https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Samtec/SL-114-G-19
do not require 1.4mm holes.
These Samtec -19 series have 0.74mm pins (so 1mm holes work fine)
And the leads can be 0.41 to 0.51mm dia
in the ordering guide
regarding the deselection of P11 is no longer applicable, as it is missing?
and C40, C41 , C52 are now SMDs so I guess they should not be deselected anymore?
I would be interested in those PCBs, are they v1.0?
I apologize, although I have released the hardware, the “ordering guide” is not really up to date. Sorry about that. I will take a look the this guide.
Waou, with these we could get down to 0.075" (1.9mm) spacing between the sandwiched boards.

Too bad that the USB-C is in the way with a height of 3 mm, so currently the spacing stays at 3mm.
Ordering guide is now up to date
I just want to say thanks a lot to Bioboards Eskate for a generous donation to this project. It means a lot - 100 pcbs for development is a lot of money. Thanks…
If you have gained anything from this project you can also donate 1$ or more via PayPal.

You tried using non-China for exampleIRF100B201 instead of CRST030N10N
No I have not tried that - I went for low Rds-on, which is 2.5mΩ for the CRST030N10N. For the IRF100B201 it is 3.5mΩ (which is still low I think).
