I feel like we are trying to solve problems that already have a solution.
We already have something that we know works and have history on actual costs. All this time and money spent on VCs could have been spent on actual infra by now.
Also in regards to the stuff about musk I’m just gonna quote this article:
As I’ve written in my book, Musk admitted to his biographer Ashlee Vance that Hyperloop was all about trying to get legislators to cancel plans for high-speed rail in California—even though he had no plans to build it.
So yeah, to say I’m skeptical of anything Hyperloop adjacent is an understatement.
