So what board and shoes did you use?

How many times did you have to stop and charge?

That is a very long way…

@glyphiks where ya at on this?

Iirc the bajaboard could do 12 inch wheels with spokes.

Smallest i’ve used are akashas at 76mm. I’m sure peeps have done smaller

How safe was this route, where did you charge? Prague → Vienna is a very tempting route to do, save money on train tickets

Exway does speed vent pulleys in 28T that should work with the 70 or 71mm seismics I think

Yeah those pulleys are lame though, they have two different bearing seats and take up a lot of axle space

Ok so currently i have too many boards… how did i get here? What and i doing with my life

Kinda want to go for longest on a single charge with the bog roosh. 2.5kwh can go a long way if i keep my speed really chill. Just riding some new and scooter riders around and i got an average of 24wh a mile and raced a truck halfway through the ride for funzies. Bet i could get it into the low 20s and get a theoretical 110 miles. If i added a top box i could probably double that

Also currently have 7 working diy builds (3 sold/gifted) and 7 boards currently owned and running but one diy i didn’t make and one is a boosted. Time to find some homes for them before they get dusty. Anyone looking for a boosted mini in good condition

I did this ride on a Flux Motion V1 board, but a modified one. I replaced the motors with Reachertech V5s and added an extra battery on top of the deck. It was a 12S10P 21700 pack with 2100Wh, so in total around 3500Wh on the board. I was charging at 35A. I think I charged 4 times, but not from 0% to 100%—just during breaks when I stopped because of my legs. My longest continuous ride without stopping was about 90 km, right after the first break.

It definitely wasn’t a safe ride. Most of it was on the road among cars. I don’t recommend it.

Just to clarify — there were 4 stops for charging, but of course more stops for resting.

Charging was done using public e-bike charging stations. I use the website mapy.com, which is run by a Czech company. When I type “Nabíjecí stanice pro elektrokola” (e-bike charging stations) into the search, it shows me all the nearby charging points. Then I just plan my route based on those.

This is insane!!!

It’s all insane… But especially that stretch.

Makes sense it was a Flux deck.
Comfort reigns supreme on the Flux.

Sorry if already mentioned, but how long of a day was this? How many hours was your whole journey?

The ride took approximately 17 hours in total.

You’re right, the Flux deck is incredibly comfortable. I currently have a Trampa deck and I’ve already done several 200 km rides on it, but it’s a bit tougher on the feet compared to the Flux.
