Does this look right

Hi all
Does this look right for charge onlyCharge only

its a Bestech HCX-D606V1L10S25A-01

That config is in neither charge or discharge. You’re bypassing it entirely and only using it for balancing.

Charger minus needs to go to P-. Preferably with a fuse inline with it.

No; try one of these for bypass

Don’t forget the fuse

Also that BMS looks like it might have a B0 balance wire which connects to B-, it’s the same potential. Depends if there are ten or eleven balance wires.

If you don’t have a C- or CH- then connect that wire to P-

i’m getting a 4A charger, which fuse rating do you recommend

Charge only CHARGE ONLY

Yes there is 11 wires i only want to use this for charge only

is this right

Usually you select a fuse around 150-200% your constant current. A 7.5 or 10a fuse will be fine for 4A charging.

Main batt neg to B-
B0 on balance leads to B-
Charger positive to main batt positive
Charger negative to CH- or P-

On some BMS there is P-/Ch- and sometimes a P- port right next to that. Usually they are connected via the PCB already and a quick continuity check will confirm that. Hook yo ch- when you have the option

Approximately double, 7.5A in this case

I just solder to it and epoxy it inside the enclosure somewhere

Does it look right now

Yes this looks much better except you need a way to turn it off. So put a loopkey in the negative line that goes to the Load, on the left. (or antispark on both the + and - going to the Load)
