Discussing high voltage, kv, amps, and efficiency

I ran this setup for a couple months and it performed well on my only board which I used for racing and long rides (40+ miles). Never had any overheating issues on that combo but I wanted more power tho so I went awd 205kv. If it’s a hot day over 80°, long rides are out of the question tho due to overheating.
Probably doesn’t help that my rear motors are like 2in off the ground.

I’ve got 170kv apex motors at 20s on Nothing Fancy. Fast riding (>30mph) on hot days (>75F) causes overheating in a few minutes

I think any closed can motor is going to suffer from heat if you’re pushing hard on a hot day
