Different wheel diameter

Has anyone tried yet to use different wheel diameters on front and back?
Like 90mm in the back and 105/120on the front.

In case this is a too dumb question, I’m asking for a friend😂

In all seriousness though, yes, I have a few times. Aside from the joke above that was made for the photo opportunities mostly.

The main question I have is why do you want to? Is it parts availability, or a different reason?

i’ve had 85 front 90 rear, didn’t have any issue.

Well I got 120mm cloudwheels but they sent the wrong hub sleeves. So I can only mount the front wheels yet.

If it’s not too bad too ride I’d mount them already

I hade 85mm front and 90mm bak.
No problems. Did ride as expected.

Just 5mm differens.

I’d ride it. It won’t be a problem.

I bet you do if you ride that beast from the pictures😂

why?

Since the rear wheels are the drive wheels and have an additional function compared to the front wheels, I would not be surprised to see different wheels in the back relative to the front.

One of my favorite wheel setups was some TB 97mm rear, and a pair of 105 airless rubber wheels on the front. Handled really well.
