Sorry that I am a bit late to the neoBox Dual Metr Pro integration discussion.
That will not work out because each Metr Pro module gets flashed with its individual certificate and individual pairing pin. There will be no source or binary files from us. Thats why we suggested to send you preflashed modules that you can then solder to your neoBox PCB directly or to your own interchangeable module.
Because you don’t want preflashed modules I would suggest a similar solution like already mentioned by @Zach, @xsynatic and @stan. Make the bluetooth module on the neoBox Dual interchangeable like it is done with the Unity. Even better, take the same connector and dimensions like the Unity bluetooth module. That way people that already bought Metr Pro Unity can easily swap to neoBox Dual and keeping their modules. We can sell you Metr Pro modules in high quantities cheaper that you then offer for the neoBox as a add-on. Give people the option to buy without any integrated BT module, with your BT module or with already integrated Metr Pro module. Thats a win for everyone.
- The customers have the option to get Metr cheaper, with a general cheaper price for the module and saving on extra shipping cost that they have to pay when buying the module separate. People that already have a Unity can plug in their Metr Pro Unity module or their OEM BT module that comes with the Unity standard.
- @jeffwuneo sells more neoBoxes because Metr enables an easy setup and great logging features and people have an extra UART port available for things like the DAVEGA X etc.
- We sell more Metr modules without the hassle to ship them individual.
Let us know if you are interested in such a cooperation @jeffwuneo . Its definitely not us that don’t want to cooperate.

Doesn’t the METR Unity run different software that’s tailored to the Unity? I guess you would release an update via the app for anyone who already had one and those that buy new ones will already be running the new software?

It is running a different firmware because its a different nRF52 chip, but you can also connect a “standard” Metr Pro to the Unitys external UART port or a Metr Pro Unity to a VESC based controller when building a fitting connector that routes the 6pin pinheader to a 7 or 8pin JST PH 2.0mm cable.

I for one, would be glad if my Metr Pro Unity could work on this ESC too. Same connector for the BLE module seems like a no-brainer.
