Trianglelabs BMG clone is as good as it gets on ali
Be forewarned, I ordered the triangle labs kit on Jan 29th and it hasn’t shipped yet. Damn virus.
Oh great, so all 3 will be late lol. On the flip side, my company just got approved to work on a coronavirus test
triangle lab’s BGM clone any day!
Vase mode… not sure what I’ll use it for, but it is too cool not to try. I am still loving Klipper firmware!
My Triangle labs kit just shipped today, finally. Estimated delivery time: 38 days.
Like the stoned out bum I am lately, I guess I thought it was a good idea to print this with zero supports. I can’t believe it actually came out kinda decent. Looks like all the upgrades I did were worth it.
Come teach me
Yikes. @Venom121212 this is the best you’ll find on amazon unless you spend $80: 3D Printer Bowden Extruder, Trianglelab MK8 Cloned Dual Stick Extruder for 3D Printer Creality CR-10, for Ender-3, for Anet E10.(Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P6X7DKL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_zqxwEbSHPQS1K
You are a God among nerds. Well done…again.
I’ve been looking at the mounts for the bmg and v6 hotend. Most mounts I see still utilize a short tube setup, is there any benefits to using the aluminum adaptor that connects straight to the bmg extruder? What I really want is the Direct drive bmg attached to the v6 with the dual cooling 5015s like @SeanHacker anyone know of a mount for this?
I know that I came across one in my search (I just have the micro Swiss and BMG)… I’ll see if I can find one tomorrow if nothing turns up by then.
Tuning my polycarbonate profile on Klipper… 105C bed temp takes forever to reach. Looks like an enclosure is my next project (I can’t wait for dual screw Z axis upgrade to arrive @SeanHacker!)
I think I’m going to check out this Klipper stuff you tall about.
It is a bit clunky at first, but works very well once you nail the config. I should have a pretty solid baseline config file that I can share soon.
Could someone email me their Cura PLA and Petg settings? (Not just the heat, like the amount but of walls etc etc)
I absolutely agree.
I finally completed another round of adjustments and tests with Klipper firmware… time to build a solid hot end that is compatible with the BMG extruder, BLTouch, and Micro Swiss hotend. Here is the plan:
I’ll use the Hydra Fan Duct & Tool Change System (Hydra Fan Duct & Tool Change System for Ender 3 Ender 5 CR10 by BoothyBoothy - Thingiverse) and various remixes. Once I finish printing and toss this together I’ll be sure to post a list of components used.
