Beautiful… it is amazing what proper cooling does. Which nozzle setup is that?

Yeah it really makes a difference. It’s still stock hotend. Had issues with the e3d fitting with what I need. So I ordered a micro swiss that’ll be here tomorrow.

The micro Swiss hotend just works. Which duct are you using now?

I think I need to upgrade my cooling next. Can you guys hit me with some recommendations?

I am a big fan of the Hero Me Gen 3, but am going to try a Petsfang setup soon. Do you have direct drive with the stock motor?

Yep, currently I have direct drive with stock motor

PETG bridging was a PITA, but finally works even on higher temperatures. I do have to be careful with overcooking… but even on lower fan speeds the Hero Me just has better flow placement.

I’ll find the relevant links when I get a chance. I ran direct drive with the stock extruder for a while - you can probably keep the direct drive mount and use the Hero Me base and duct.

My prints keep lifting in one corner. (changes every time)

Any suggestions? 200° hotend and °50 bed is what I am running right now. (Stock cooling and micro Swiss hotend)

On another note what air duct should I print for it?

Cough PLA…

I set the bed to 60 and print my PLA anywhere from 205 to 235. Usually I am at 220 or so and never require any hairspray etc for PLA.

Here’s the original. I’ve been trying to upload my version for hours but thingiverse is always fucked.

Here’s mine for printermods dd.

Glass bed?

Yep, it’s all scratched up though, I’m gonna order a new one…

Encloser around the printer
More squish for first layer
Clean the bed
Level the bed
Slower first layeres
Hotter bed and nozzle first layeres
Slower printing
Hairspray or glue stick

Level clean bed and no drafts around the printer are the main ones
