I love y’all and I love these carve events! I look it it as a kind of grand touring esk8 rally tour series. @jack.luis called it a DIY event and that resonates with me. You build your board, and bring it… to what is really the ultimate test. You can’t fake it through a carve event.
If your board is not built well, it will fail
Tubes will puncture
Belts will break
You will hot glue your pants
People will fall, and fall, and fall
You will need to balance charging and eating before the next ride (you can pee while you skate)
Oh, welcome to the fucking esk8 hostel! 18 skaters, one house, video games, projectors, food, alcohol, and weed… lots of noise, not much sleep
I hope you can turn your board… @BenjaminF will torture test you skills for 45miles of hard turns and cutbacks… until you quit
