Yeah, awesome. Except it rains half the year. Not in July though.

Yep, but a good part of it is closed to traffic 7 days a week, as always.

@Tamatoa Portland has a rich skate history. Burnside Bridge~~

Burnside or Tabor?

If you hate Tabor then you just hate nature and may Sagan have mercy on your soul.

Burnside on the other hand is an important place in skate history. It started in 1990 as a skate community effort as an illegally built park, and then Portland decided to recognize it as an actual park and gave it funding so it could keep growing and be maintained. It’s bigger/better maintained than it’s ever been. Not to mention as culturally important as the Encinitas Y Skate Park or Carlsbad imo.

Would love to hear more on your experience. And we all have preferences; Barrett Junction is hallowed ground for DH and I cannot stand that course.

Yes burnside. At the time it was completely run down and not maintained. I don’t remember to much but I remember the distinct smell of urine as it was very pungent. You say they have done alot of upkeep on it recently?

Yep. It happened for a while, a while back. Bum gangs took over and nobody wanted to skate there especially at night. I worked about 100ft away from it for about 3 years 9 months ago and it’s nice. Fresh paint, cleaned up trash cans, piss clouds to a minimum, ect… Bum gangs try and come through but don’t get very far anymore.

Quick Question for everyone.
We are likely driving up from LA.

Who here is interested in board delivery up the coast?
We’ll do it for cheaper than shipping and special care of your babies

Just gauging interest, not saying this will happen just yet.
@pookybear @Bobby @KfromtheBay @Saturn_Corp
Anyone who lives along the west coast between LA and Portland really. The more boards the better , we have some pretty big vehicles to do this.

Please revote, had to change
