A cheap wattmeter between battery and esc is accurate.
I never tested how accurate they are but these have good reviews

I just blew one up last night plugging it in negative to positive by mistake but otherwise they’ve been good. Big Smokey pop and had to air out the house for hours.
They don’t make the wattsup power meter anymore and it was said to be really accurate. Don’t think there’s any accurate wattmeter around.
I had one just like it, and blew it in the same way lol
it saved my vesc6!! so 16$ im happy. had soldered on the main battery wires backwards
