This swinging bridge is on a new trail I found hidden in the middle of my town. Turns out there is a local onewheel group building up the trails and having races. Met up for a group ride last night and had a blast.
I wonder how often that big step gets people…

What did the onewheel group think of your mountain board? Anyone of them tempted to order an Agent or go DIY?
They apparently have one other dude who rides some mountainboard but no one could tell me the brand. They were shocked I was making it through all the turns and that my board was way quieter than his. They liked it a lot but are all on the race scene for one wheels so they’re pretty committed. This was my first time riding with them though so my plan is to beat all their course records 
I’m sure you’ll casually smoke their records. Hopefully that leads to some of them wanting an emtb. And I’m not surprised that they were surprised, DIY has been pretty much the only option for an electric mountain board in the States for a long time. Hard to blame people for not wanting to fuck with it. Cheers to getting more people exposed

Maybe. My shitty opinion is that mountain boards are so much more capable and fun than one wheels in 90% of off road situations. If he only rides the tight switchback stuff that they do then maybe they’ll beat him. Dude has been mountain boarding since he was a kid though and I’m betting he can throttle and slide around tighter turns than I can.
Onewheels are awesome and have been an order and ride option for a long time. Electric mountain boarding has been behind a DIY wall for too long.
TLDR my shitty opinion, there might be unique situations where a onewheel handles better, but those situations are rare and not worth it compared to the amazing shit you can do on a mountain board.
There was only one turn that got me and they even got it on video haha. It was a sharp s curve and I should have just plowed through the rough instead of trying to double cut it. They couldn’t believe I was able to make the turns on the RC car track. Need to get a video but its hard because I was at max turn for pretty much every turn
Maybe they’ll be up for hitting some of the trails that you usually hit so they can see what your board is capable of. Bonus points if you let them rip around on your board or have a spare that one of them can use.
