Let’s talk about belts. Over the past 6 months we’ve been testing lots and lots of different timing belts with the premise that a superior belt must exist which could handle the abuse we put our boards through. With 245kv Radium motors running 160 phase amps through 14T pulleys on our prototype board XP1 we had ourselves a belt murdering machine capable of destroying a set of genuine Gates belts in just a matter of minutes while power sliding on tarmac.
