We don’t Well. At least that was the case in early 2000s. I think that might be changing right about now

Our culture seems to be opening up to new things.

Heh. I refrained from adding that because:

My mom’s Ecuadorian. She made us burrittos all the time growing up. I grew up with the mistaken impression that it was an all latin america thing. My brother moved to mexico city, and I made a comment about getting good burritos, he disdainfully corrected me that that’s mostly a baja / socal thing.
