If you lived somewhere hotter and you weigh 200lb+ and you skate alot of long hills or wanna race up hill. 4wd is great.
Not sure its necessary tho for most people.
Just spend more on bigger battery.
@DerelictRobot is a full sized man. Skates lots of hills and rocks dual motor builds
I still wanna build a 4wd tho and its pretty flat here lol
Wanna know the best part about having Aspergerās syndrome?
I assume that just because something can be, automatically means it should. So thanks for saving me 900$ lol plus Iād need a bigger battery.
So yes you saved me more like ā¦1800$ lol with just one drive train and regular battery
Thats enough for another build lol
Totally agree with what @Skunk is laying down. When it comes to gear drives I think youāll be surprised how much torque you have available when paired with decent sized motors.
Starting with a 2wd is a wise choice imo
Itās all the goat really.
Well I weigh 140
That geeek diet. Thank god I live in America. Lol
Fuck youāll be fine.
Iām 200 and flew up hill on my 12s4p no problem.
On belts
You trying to blast off this planet on a 4wd gear drive?
Ends up building 4wd beasts hes scared to ride lol
This is a very similar conversation on a PC forum I had when a guy asked why I needed 64GB of RAM for music production lolā¦
Yeaā¦pass lol
And in all reality. Unless youāre a really experienced builder. 4wd is just more failure points.
Examples? Iām currently on 190kv 6354. Should I change to use gears?
Are you having heat issues on 6354?
Naw generally thatās fine to start with. Theyāre consumables anyway. I personally prefer 6374+ on gear drives but Iām about 103kg fully geared.
Also depends on the true stator size.
So should I go 74 or 80s thenā¦
