Do we know what cells are in the battery?

It’s a MEB pack, it’s 30Qs.

Dimensions of the Battery?

Also what is the purchase date of the antispark?

It went through a redesign recently.

Shit I want that battery

But… must hold out… For 30t ;_;

@covenant Can you give us a purchase/manufacturing date on that pack please?

The antispark switch was purchased before the redesign and posting the dimensions of the battery tomorrow forgot to measure it. From loose memory it’s 13"x6"x1.5"

I’m not sure how to figure that out. But I can tell you that I bought it like 8-10 months ago and have been topping it off every few months since then

Just a note. That battery is “thick” but short because the BMS is on top of the cells, surrounded by foam and a plastics shell to make that shape.

Good battery. Still using mine but I had it “flattened” out

Who flatened it out for you? Or could you easily just cut it pull it forward and re plastic it?

I had @Chibatterysystems do it in the US. But realistically you can do it if you’re not chickenshit like me. Just cut the wrap, remove the plastic rectangle and foam. Pull the BMS and cut the BMS balance wires taking note of which is which and make sure none of them touch each other. Strip then extend said balance wires, add heat shrink and place the BMS at the end of the pack and reheatshrink the whole thing.

The 12+1? balance wires length prevents it from being a simple repositioning

Unfortunately, I think it’s too big for my purposes :(.

This is what the 12s3p battery looks like after flatten it out. I have it in a hummie deck and still got plenty of wasted space

Too wide, I was thinking of replacing the 10s4p NCR18650BD pack in my electric scooter, the battery compartment is only 5" wide.

thanks for the info though!
