What’s the upgrade plan, out of interest? This job is on my list as well.

Pretty sure they’re 190kv.

More seriously, 10s 140 kv ? With what kind of gear ratio ? That sounds slow

actually not so slow

the motor pulley is 20t

20:62 ( i think)

8 inch wheels

35mph max

Oh, ok, didn’t think about that.

Yeah I’m running 10S 140Kv, you can just use a bigger motor pulley. @Evwan is a big fan of having big (20 or 22T) ones just to have lower belt tension

140kv motors > 190kv. They’re so much quieter too.

I can do £30 for that anti spark thing just because it looks interesting, I’ll DM to sort postage

no idea exactly how it works though

its a antispark + fuse

That’s a very modest spec for this day and age, especially considering its potential. Not much of an upgrade tbh. More revitalising 3 years of degradation, isn’t it? No shame in that, mind. I was planning on going 12S, at least.

sadly 12s in that deck is a real pain and squish
i talked to the guy and he was set on trampa vescs (quite big) so 10s5p p42a it was

still gonna be a pretty nice board though
a lot of torque + 35mph top speed

yep stock prototipo motors were 190kv.

it’s worth the squish. stick a xenith in there.

I rode a proto with 8" wheels. smaller deck big wheels. it feels better with 7" or 6".
at which point it’ll be geared slow. do 190kv motors if you’re staying 10s.
