I am looking to buy two sets of gears (2x wheel gears, 2x motor spur gears) to try to make a gear drive for myself as a small project. I only want the gears, not the mount, clamp, wheel adapter etc. Herringbone gears would be great, but otherwise straight cut would be fine too.
The ratio does not matter too much as I am also planning to get some new motors and will just get a kV rating to get the right speed. I am planning to use them with Trampa Gummies & Urban (125-165 mm diameter), so no size constraints. I have recently managed to get my chinese 6040 cnc working with aluminium quite well, so will try to build everything else myself.
I saw the website, but I don’t have a lathe to change the internal hole size, etc. Do they also do custom orders, and if they do are the prices reasonable for a one off?
